The Golden State Warriors re-established their dominance atop the TSN.ca NBA Power Rankings after recently demolishing top contenders San Antonio and Cleveland.
As of a week ago, the Warriors were getting pushed for top spot by the Spurs, but after the past week, the Warriors have put more space between No. 1 and No. 2 in the rankings.
Among teams moving up, the Boston Celtics have won three straight and climb from 13 to eight, and the Sacramento Kings with a dominant DeMarcus Cousins rise from 20 to 16.
Losing ground, Miami Heat are both slumping and injured, and drop from 14 to 19, and injuries ravage the Charlotte Hornets, who fall from 17 to 20.
The Toronto Raptors have won nine straight, yet remain at six. They're closer now to overtaking the Clippers or Cavaliers, but not yet.
