Angel Reese broke a WNBA record with her 29th double-double this season, Allisha Gray made six 3-pointers and finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds, and the Atlanta Dream beat the league-leading Minnesota Lynx 89-81 on Sunday in their last game before the FIBA World Cup break.


WNBA: Valkyries 86 , Fire 69

Tiffany Hayes scored 18 points, Kayla Thornton added 17 and the Golden State Valkyries beat the Portland Fire 86-69 on Sunday in their final game before the FIBA World Cup break.


WNBA: Tempo 69, Mercury 101

The Tempo were blown out by the Mercury on Saturday night to fall to 11-29 on the season. Noemie Brochant and Shay Ciezki led Phoenix with 15 points apiece and Sami Whitcomb dropped 14. Isabelle Harrison had a game-high 16 points for the Tempo and added ten rebounds. Toronto has lost 20 of their last 22 games.


WNBA: Tempo 73, Aces 93

A'ja Wilson had 27 points and eight rebounds, Jackie Young scored 23 points, and the Las Vegas Aces beat the Toronto Tempo 93-73 on Friday night.


WNBA: Sun 91, Fever 111

Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell each scored 34 points as the the Fever beat the Sun 111-91 on Friday. Clark added 12 assists, marking the fifth time this year she's had a double-double with at least 30 and 10. Mitchell notched her 24th straight 20-point game in the Fever's final game before a three-week break for the FIBA Women's World Cup.


WNBA: Mystics 80, Mercury 73

Georgia Amoore scored 16 of her career-high 25 points in the fourth quarter, Kiki Iriafen added 20 points and 12 rebounds for her 19th double-double of the season and the Washington Mystics beat the Phoenix Mercury 80-73 on Thursday night.


WNBA: Valkyries 79, Liberty 60

Cecilia Zandalasini scored 14 of her 20 points in the first half, Gabby Williams added 16 points and the Golden State Valkyries beat the New York Liberty 79-60 on Thursday night.


WNBA: Tempo 78, Storm 90

Flau’jae Johnson scored 20 points, Dominique Malonga added 18, and the Storm beat the short-handed Tempo on Wednesday night. Rookie Kiki Rice scored a season-high 24 points for Toronto, which was without its top three scorers.


WNBA: Fire 78, Wings 96

Paige Bueckers had 22 points and 11 assists, Jessica Shepard added 21 points, nine rebounds and six assists, and the Dallas Wings beat the Portland Fire 96-78 on Tuesday night to clinch the final WNBA playoff spot.
