Veronica Burton had 25 points and six rebounds, Gabby Williams added 19 points, six rebounds and six assists, and the Golden State Valkyries beat Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Thursday night.

Azzi Fudd scored 22 points in her first WNBA start, Jessica Shepard had her second triple-double of the season and the Dallas Wings beat the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday night. Shepard also scored 22 points to go with a career-high 20 rebounds and 10 assists.


WNBA: Tempo 111, Sky 104

Nyara Sabally put up a career-high 29 points, Marina Mabrey finished with 24 points and seven assists, and the Tempo beat the Sky on Wednesday night to snap a two-game skid.


WNBA: Fire 99, Tempo 80

Emily Engstler had 16 points, including nine in the third quarter, as the Portland Fire routed the Toronto Tempo 99-80 on Saturday. Bridget Carleton of Chatham-Kent, Ont., had 15 points thanks to a 4-for-8 night from three-point range for Portland (3-3). Marina Mabrey and rookie Kiki Rice had 19 points apiece as Toronto (3-4) lost back-to-back games.


WNBA: Valkyries 82, Fever 90

Caitlyn Clark had 22 points and nine assists in her return after missing a game with a back injury, Aliyah Boston had 20 points and 16 rebounds, and the Indiana Fever beat the Golden State Valkyries 90-82 on Friday night for their third straight win.


WNBA: Tempo 72, Lynx 100

Maya Caldwell scored 16 points and Olivia Miles had 14 points and six assists as the Lynx routed the Tempo. Kia Nurse led Toronto with 23 points in the loss.


WNBA: Valkyries 87, Liberty 70

Gabby Williams scored 16 points to lead a balanced offence and help the Valkyries rout the Liberty. Breanna Stewart led New York with 18 points in the loss.

Tempo wrap up road trip vs. Lynx eyeing third straight win on TSN

The Toronto Tempo are seeking a third straight win when they visit the Minnesota Lynx to cap off a four-game road trip tonight on TSN. The Tempo are coming off a win over the Mercury in which Brittney Sykes and Marina Mabrey combined for 61 points. TSN's Nikki Reyes and Tamika Nurse set up the action.
