The Kitchener Rangers may have fallen just short on their Memorial Cup hosting bid, but we know one thing for sure. It was NOT because of the facilities.
We recently took a trip down Highway 401 to visit the Kitchener Rangers for a gameday experience. As part of the trip, the Rangers kindly allowed us to tour their locker room facilities. This includes the gym, the sauna/tub room, the rehabilitation room, the pro shop, the lounge, and or course, the locker room itself.
Guided by Rangers captain and Predators 1st rounder Cam Reid, it’s safe to say Jesse was floored by the entire tour.
You can really see how much attention to detail was put into these facilities, an attention to detail that racked up a $2.5M bill! When you’re investing into a $72,000 skate sharpener, it adds up pretty quick.
We’ve done lots of locker room tours before, but this one has to rank amongst the best.
