Can Yamamoto force a Game 7?

The pitching matchup for Game 6 will be a rematch of Game 2.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto returns to the mound after picking up the win in Game 2 with a complete game four-hitter. His CG in Game 2 made him just the first pitcher since 2001 with back-to-back complete games in the postseason.

Meanwhile, Kevin Gausman gets the ball for Toronto as they aim to win the team’s first World Series since 1993.

This October, Gausman is 2-2 with a 2.55 ERA over 24.2 innings while striking out 18.

Vladdy favoruite to win World Series MVP

For the first time in this series, we have a new favourite to win World Series MVP.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. sits at -190 after his first-inning home run helped spark Toronto to a win in Game 5.

Trailing Vladdy now is Shohei Ohtani at +230. This is the first time since early October that Ohtani isn’t the favourite to win the award.

No other player is listed shorter than 15-1 to win MVP.
