There is a clear favourite to win the 2025-26 Hart Trophy entering the final stretch of the NHL season.
Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan Mackinnon sits at -200 on FanDuel to win the award. That number comes with an implied probability of 66.67 per cent.
Mackinnon’s 40 goals lead the league by a wide margin, with him six clear of Connor McDavid (+900) in second. Meanwhile, his 93 points have him just four behind the pace of McDavid’s league-leading 98, with only Nikita Kucherov (+380) higher at 94.
San Jose Sharks forward Macklin Celebrini is fourth in the league in scoring. With the Sharks currently +200 underdogs to reach the playoffs, leading his team to the postseason could be enough for Celebrini to become just the third teenager to win the award (Wayne Gretzky, Sidney Crosby).
No other player in the NHL is priced shorter than 500-1.
As TSN Senior Sports Betting Analyst Domenic Padula touched on earlier this week, a number of NHL Awards will go down to the wire this season. We want to know what you think.
Will Mackinnon win the Hart Trophy, or will someone from the chase pack hunt him down with a quarter of the season still to be played?
