Over the past three decades, 20 different NFL teams have been listed at +500 or shorter odds to win the Super Bowl as the preseason favourite.

7. Cincinnati Bengals +1900 (T-11th Choice)
“If Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins stay healthy, the Cincinnati Bengals have a shot.”
This is the “I’m tired of saying next year” ticket.
Burrow, Chase, and Higgins led the Bengals to a Super Bowl in 2022 but haven’t been back since.
Their superstar trio is finally healthy again, the defence couldn’t be any worse than last season, and FanDuel bettors are banking on value with Cincinnati at +1900.
6. Denver Broncos +1900 (T-11th Choice)
This is the “Mile High Rebate Ticket”.
The Denver Broncos won 14 of their first 15 games, clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC, then beat the Bills in a playoff game to reach the AFC Championship.
Would the Broncos have gone to the Super Bowl if Nix didn’t fracture his ankle in the win over Buffalo?
Denver brought back veteran running back J.K. Dobbins and linebacker Alex Singleton, then added veteran wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and selected rookie running back Jonah Coleman in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.
After falling just short in large part due to Nix’s ankle injury, the Broncos can be found at +1900 to win it all.
They might not get the same amount of love as the teams ahead of them on this list, but Denver is certainly worth a look as a team that checks all the boxes.
5. Baltimore Ravens +1300 (4th Choice)
This is the “LJ Era Legacy Win” ticket.
Lamar Jackson turns 30 in January.
He’s 3-5 as a starting quarterback in the postseason.
After falling just short of the playoffs on a missed field goal against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18 last year, the Ravens fired John Harbaugh and replaced him with former Los Angeles Chargers DC Jesse Minter.
While the spotlight is on Jackson, Derrick Henry and the offence under new offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, Minter’s ability to rejuvenate the Baltimore defence will be just as important when it comes to the Ravens’ chances to exceed expectations.
4. Philadelphia Eagles +1700 (T-6th Choice)
The “Bet on Jalen” ticket.
The Eagles doubled down on their commitment to Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni when they brought back their head coach and traded A.J. Brown to the Patriots.
Philadelphia is one year removed from a Super Bowl win.
The Eagles are banking on first-year offensive coordinator Sean Mannion fixing an offence that was far too inconsistent last season, with defensive coordinator Vic Fangio back for at least one more year.
The NFC is wide open behind the Rams and Seahawks.
Can Philly get back to the big game at +1700 to win it all?
3. Kansas City Chiefs +1700 (T-6th Choice)
The “Dynasty Afterparty” is the third most popular ticket at FanDuel.
Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to three Super Bowl wins in five seasons from 2020 to 2024.
However, Kansas City fell just short against Philadelphia in 2025, then Mahomes tore his ACL and LCL in 2026 as the Chiefs failed to make the playoffs.
Mahomes is healthy again and Kansas City reloaded in the offseason with the additions of veteran running back Kenneth Walker, as well as rookie wide receiver Cyrus Allen and rookie running back Emmett Johnson.
Can Mahomes and the Chiefs rediscover their magic?
Or will the dynasty afterparty turn out to be a dud?
2. Buffalo Bills +1000 (2nd Choice)
The Bills are the most popular bet to win the Super Bowl among AFC teams as they chase the “New Highmark”.
Buffalo has a new stadium, new head coach, and the best quarterback on the planet leading the way in Josh Allen.
Still, the Bills failed to significantly upgrade some major holes on defence, while the offence will largely run it back with the addition of No. 1 wide receiver D.J. Moore.
Rookie sixth-round pick wide receiver Skyler Bell looks like he could turn out to be a steal, but does Joe Brady have the answers that Sean McDermott didn’t?
Buffalo is the favourite to win the AFC Championship at +490 and the second choice to win the Super Bowl.
The “New Highmark” ticket is banking on Allen leading the Bills to their first Super Bowl win in franchise history.
1. Los Angeles Rams +550 (Favourite)
The Rams are the obvious “Offseason Winner” ticket, which hasn’t performed well over the last three decades.
Still, LA fell just short against the reigning champion Seahawks in last year’s NFC Championship, and they’ve addressed a leaky defence with the additions of the reigning Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett, a former Defensive Player of the Year in Donald, and a former All-Pro cornerback in Trent McDuffie.
Matthew Stafford is coming off an MVP season, and even if he suffers some regression, the revamped defence could be good enough to carry LA to the postseason.
The Rams are by far the most popular bet to win the Super Bowl at FanDuel.
With seven days to go until the NFL regular season kick-off, FanDuel bettors are banking on the potential for the best team on paper to live up to the hype this season.
