The Canadian Football League has fined three Montreal Alouettes players following their Week 15 clash against the BC Lions, it was announced Saturday.
Wide receiver Tyson Philpot was fined for taunting on BC defensive back Christophe Beaulieu, while wide receiver Tyler Snead was fined for unnecessary roughness on Lions defensive back Ronald Kent Jr.
Quarterback Davis Alexander -- who currently leads the league in passing yards at 4,414 -- was also fined for unnecessary roughness on Lions defensive back Deontai Williams.
The CFL did not disclose the amount of the fines as per league policy.
The Lions defeated the Alouettes 48-29 last week but Montreal got back in the win column against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 35-27 to kick off Week 16 Friday night in the Hall of Fame game.
