As Week 20 in the Canadian Football League approaches, the race for the final spots in the Grey Cup Playoffs comes to a head with just two weeks remaining in the 2026 regular season.
The action gets underway with a doubleheader on Friday night as the Toronto Argonauts look to keep the Ottawa Redblacks winless on the season, followed by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers taking on the Edmonton Elks with a spot in the playoffs on the line.
Saturday’s twin billing will see the Saskatchewan Roughriders looking to put an end to their late-season slump against the Alouettes in a rematch from last week’s Thanksgiving Day Classic, before the attention turns to an important West Division clash between the Calgary Stampeders and BC Lions.
Here is a look at each game and where you can find them on the TSN Network.
Argonauts vs. Redblacks
Week 20 kicks off with the Ottawa Redblacks still searching for their first win of the season as they host the Toronto Argonauts in their final home game in 2026.
Ottawa (0-16) is running out of time to avoid making the wrong kind of history as the only team in the CFL’s modern era to go winless across the course of a full season.
The Redblacks have a home matchup against the Argonauts before taking to the road for their season finale against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, as they have just two more chances to finally get in the win column.
Getting that elusive victory could be even harder with Argonauts quarterback and 2023 CFL MOP Chad Kelly returning to practice as he looks to get back on the field after missing Week 18 with a right hand injury.
Nick Arbuckle got the start in place of Kelly against the Lions in Toronto’s last game, and completed 27 of his 33 passing attempts for 292 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions as the Argos would go onto lose 24-17.
Toronto had their four-game win streak snapped against BC, but the Double Blue have already clinched a spot in the postseason as the second seed in the East as they begin to set their sights on the Eastern Semifinal.
Blue Bombers vs. Elks
The action continues on Friday night with Zach Collaros and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers looking to punch their ticket to the playoffs against Cody Fajardo and the Edmonton Elks.
Coming off of a big 33-28 win over the Calgary Stampeders last time out, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers are back in control of their playoff fate with two games remaining in the regular season.
Collaros returned from a two-week injury absence to throw for 349 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, leading the Bombers over Calgary for a crucial win that also served to give Winnipeg the playoff tiebreaker over their West Division foes.
Winnipeg (8-8) now owns the tiebreaker over Calgary and the Saskatchewan Roughriders, two of the teams in the hunt with the Blue Bombers for the final two playoff spots.
The Bombers can clinch the crossover spot with one win over their final two games regardless of results from around the league, while winning out will guarantee them a West Division playoff spot.
Standing in their way is the West-leading Edmonton Elks, who are looking to secure the top spot in the division and host the Western Final with a victory.
The Elks defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 27-12 last week to clinch a home playoff date, with Fajardo, Nikolas Constantinou, and ShunDerrick Powell all scoring majors in the fourth quarter to seal the deal.
Edmonton (12-4) has taken both games against the Blue Bombers this year, and will sweep the season series with a victory on Friday night.
Alouettes vs. Roughriders
Trevor Harris and the defending Grey Cup champion Saskatchewan Roughriders are on the ropes and are in desperate need of a win as they welcome Davis Alexander and the Montreal Alouettes to town.

Saskatchewan (8-8) fell to the Alouettes 44-24 in last week’s Thanksgiving Day Classic for their fourth straight loss, and will now host the rematch looking for a measure of revenge with their playoff lives hanging in the balance.
The Riders are tied with Winnipeg and Calgary at 16 points through 19 weeks, and would lose any potential tiebreaker against both teams, making the Week 20 clash against Montreal as important a game as they’ve had all season long.
Saskatchewan trailed Montreal 17-16 in the early stages of the third quarter last week, but the Als would go on to score 24 unanswered points and put the game out of reach and officially take the Riders out of contention to host a playoff game.
Alexander threw for 403 yards, five touchdowns, and a pick in the win, also eclipsing the 5,000-yard mark to join Als great Anthony Calvillo as the only quarterbacks in franchise history to accomplish the feat.
The win also secured Montreal’s perfect record at home this season, a streak they will look to continue when they host the Eastern Final next month after clinch the top spot in the division.
Lions vs. Stampeders
Vernon Adams Jr. and the Calgary Stampeders get one last chance to help their playoff chances as they host Nathan Rourke and the BC Lions to close out a CFL Saturday doubleheader.
Calgary (8-9) is coming off of a 33-28 loss to the Blue Bombers, and now close their regular season against the Lions while needing some help from other teams around the league if they are to make the playoffs.
The Stampeders also lost the tiebreaker by falling to Winnipeg, but Calgary can still get into the playoffs this week with a Roughriders loss against Montreal and a win over the Lions.
If Winnipeg wins one of their last two games and Saskatchewan wins out, the Stampeders would then be eliminated from playoff contention.
Meanwhile, BC (10-6) booked their spot in the postseason with a 41-20 win over the Redblacks last week.
Rourke threw for 360 yards with three touchdowns and an interception as the Lions continued their red-hot stretch after starting the season at 1-5.
BC is still mathematically in the running for the top spot in the West, but will need to win out to give themselves any chance of finishing above the Elks before the end of the regular season.
