Zach Collaros was in uniform at Winnipeg Blue Bombers practice on Monday, but was not participating.
Dru Brown led the offensive drills, Ed Tait noted. Collaros was not listed on the team’s injury report after the session.
Collaros played the entirety of the team’s 22-19 loss to the Edmonton Elks on Friday. He threw for 219 yards on 19-for-30 passing with a touchdown and interception. Collaros, who turns 38 this week, was sacked twice.
A native of Steubenville, Ohio, Collaros picked up a neck injury during the team’s 14-13 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on July 5. He would go on to miss the next four games with Brown starting at pivot. He returned in time for an Aug. 14 win over the Ottawa Redblacks by a score of 33-21. Collaros threw for 222 yards in the victory.
In six games this season, his 14th CFL season and sixth with the Bombers, Collaros has thrown for 1,426 yards on 114-for-164 passing with six TDs to four picks.
Running back Brady Oliveira, who rushed for 116 yards in the Elks loss, offensive tackle Stanley Bryant and defensive back Deatrick Nichols did not practice on Monday.
The Bombers (5-5), tied for third place in the West Division, return to action on Friday when they host the league’s top team, the Montreal Alouettes (9-1).
