Just three weeks remain in the Canadian Football League’s regular season as the stretch run gets underway ahead of the Grey Cup Playoffs later this month.
The first round of the playoffs are set to kick off on Saturday, Oct. 31, with the Toronto Argonauts hosting the Eastern Semi-Final at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT against a yet-to-be-determined crossover team from the West Division at BMO Field.
The Western Semi-Final will then follow at 4:30 p.m. ET / 1:30 p.m. PT between the second and third seeds in the Division, currently the BC Lions and Saskatchewan Roughriders with three weeks to play in the regular season.
After those two playoff games are settled, the Eastern and Western Finals are set one week later on Saturday, Nov. 7.
The Montreal Alouettes locked up the top spot in the East Division last week, and they are now confirmed as hosts for the Eastern Final from Percival Molson Memorial Stadium at 3 p.m. ET / Noon PT.
The Western Final will kick off later in the day at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT. The Edmonton Elks currently hold the top spot in the West, and would host the game at Commonwealth Stadium if they can hold off the chasers in the Division.
The playoff will then culminate with the playing of the 113th Grey Cup from Calgary’s McMahon Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT.
Calgary is set to host the big game for the sixth time in Grey Cup history, with the last coming in 2019 when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers took down the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to end a 29-year championship drought.
