Blue Bombers agree to terms with American WR Bailey on one-year contract

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced Friday they have agreed to terms with American wide receiver Rahseed Bailey on a one-year contract. 

The 29-year-old Philadelphia Pa., native has a career year with the Blue Bombers in 2022. Bailey started all 18 regular-season games along with the Blue Bombers Western Final win over the BC Lions and their Grey Cup loss to the Toronto Argonauts. 

A product of Delaware Valley University, Bailey ranked third on the Bombers in receiving behind Nic Demski (772)and rookie Dalton Schoen (1,441) with career-bests in yards (729)  touchdowns (9) and receptions (63). 

Demski has spent three seasons with the Blue Bombers (2019, 2021-22) tallying 134 career receptions for 1,564 yards and 14 touchdowns. 

Bailey was a member of the Grey-Cup-winning Blue Bombers teams in 2019 and 2021.
