Taylor Pendrith has been named an assistant captain for this fall’s Presidents Cup, reports TSN’s Bob Weeks.

Pendrith will serve as an assistant under International Team captain Geoff Ogilvy, alongside fellow assistants Trevor Immelman, Camilo Villegas and Tim Clark.

The 35-year-old has two top 10s on the PGA Tour this season, including a second-place finish at the ISCO Championship last month. He did not make the PGA Tour Playoffs.

Pendrith is the No. 89-ranked player in the world and has made the cut in 93 of his 134 Tour starts. His lone victory came at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson in 2024.

Six players have already claimed automatic spots on the International Team in Si Woo Kim, Tom Kim, Min Woo Lee, Adam Scott, Ryan Fox and Hideki Matsuyama. Ogilvy select another six players to fill out the team.

The Presidents Cup runs from Sept. 22 to Sept. 27 at Medinah Country Club in Illinois.
