Austin Greaser (PGA TOUR Americas)

Austin Greaser, Daniel Svärd, Garrison Smith, Adam Duncan and Chuan-Tai Lin share the 36-hole lead at 8-under entering the weekend at the Manitoba Open. Elmhurst Golf & Country Club’s historic Donald Ross layout proved challenging through two rounds, with half of the holes playing to an over par scoring average. The cut fell at 2-under, leaving 62 players from the 156-player field to compete into the weekend. All five co-leaders entered the week outside the top 68 on the season-long points list.

Greaser (Vandalia, Ohio) entered the week following a T18 at the Osprey Valley Open and is seeking his first top-15 finish of the season. The 2021 U.S. Amateur runner-up has now made four consecutive cuts after missing three of his first five in his debutant PGA TOUR Americas season.

Svärd (Stockholm, Sweden) continues his strong play since earning PGA TOUR Americas status through PGA TOUR University less than three months ago. In his fourth professional start, the Northwestern product is seeking another solidresult after already notching finishes of T36 and T31 this summer. Svärd finished No. 19 in the 2026 PGA TOUR University Ranking.

Smith (Fort Worth, Texas) is in contention in his fourth start of the season, earning his spot via a top-five finish at the Explore NB Open in July. He is joined by Duncan (Bakersfield, California), who made his third cut in nine starts and his first in four events. Lin (New Taipei City, Chinese Taipei) joined the lead from one of the final groups of the day, closing with birdies on Nos. 17 and 18 after play resumed following a weather delay of more than an hour.
