The PGA Tour playoffs continue on Saturday with moving day at the St. Jude Championship at TPC Southwind in Memphis.
The top 70 players in the season-long FedEx Cup standings punched their tickets to this week’s event, which will go down to 50 at next week’s BMW Championship in Missouri.
Corey Conners was the first of the three Canadians to finish his round on Saturday after entering the day at 2-over. The Listowel, Ont., native birdied on the 10th, 12th, and 16th hole but bogeys on the 13th, 14th, and 15th holes has him at even par going into Sunday’s final round.
Sudarshan Yellamaraju of Mississauga, Ont. is led all Canadians entering Saturday after he shot a five-under 65 in the second round on Friday. He sat tied for ninth at five-under and is six strokes behind Scottie Scheffler for the lead.
Abbotsford, B.C.’s Nick Taylor sat at three under entering Saturday’s coverage after he shot a two-under 68 on Friday.
