Scottie Scheffler misses first cut in 79 events at Scottish Open

Scottie Scheffler finished his second round at even par at the Scottish Open, two shots off the projected cut line, to end his run of playing 78 consecutive weekends when starting tournaments on the PGA Tour. It was the fifth-longest streak in PGA Tour history.


LPGA: The Amundi Evian Championship - Rd. 1

Canadian Brooke Henderson got off to a hot start at the Evian Championship with a first round 67 to get her to 4-under and four back of the lead. Fellow Canadian Anna Huang had a solid first round as well, finishing with a 1-under 70.


PGA: Genesis Scottish Open - Rd. 1

Rory McIlroy opened with a bogey but recovered well to shoot a 5-under, 65 and sit tied for the lead following the first round of the Genesis Scottish Open. Corey Conners is the low Canadian at 3-under while Scottie Scheffler and Sudarshan Yellamaraju are three off the lead at 2-under heading into Friday.


PGA: ISCO Championship - Rd. 1

Canadian Adam Svensson rattled off eight birdies en route to a 5-under, 65 that has him two off the lead following the first round of the ISCO Championship. Mackenzie Hughes and Adam Hadwin also had solid opening rounds as three Canadians sit inside the top 12 and ties heading into Friday.

Chris Gotterup made up a five-shot deficit Sunday by closing with a 9-under 62 to win the John Deere Classic for his fourth PGA Tour title in the last 12 months.
