WHC: Norway vs. Canada extended highlights

Steen: 'We know that we can win against everybody and now we did'

OT-hero Noah Steen has a hard time putting into words what the historic bronze medal victory means to Norway. Steen tries his best to describe the feeling of scoring the overtime-winner, and explains that he hopes the country can keep on building on this accomplishment.


WHC: Bronze Medal Game - Norway 3, Canada 2 (OT)

Norway stunned Canada in overtime of the bronze medal game to capture its first World Hockey Championship medal. Noah Steen scored the winner 3:32 into overtime. The previous best result for Norway was a fourth-place finish in 1951.


Bergeron, Campbell-Pascall among eight inducted into IIHF Hall of Fame

Patrice Bergeron and Cassie Campbell-Pascall were among eight new members to be inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame. Andres Ambuhl, Niklas Kronwall, Florence Schelling, and Thomas Vanek — and two builders, Ralph Krueger and Luc Tardif - were the other inductees who made up the Class of 2026.


WHC: Finland 4, Canada 2

Sasha Barkov tied the game for Finland in the second period before assisting on the eventual game-winner as the Finns beat Canada to move to Sunday's Gold Medal game against Switzerland. Dylan Holloway picked up a goal and an assist for the Canadians, who will face Norway for the bronze medal.


Donskov: 'Self-inflicted' mistakes helped lead to Canada's loss

Canada head coach Misha Donskov says he was happy with the team's start, but got away from their game in the second period. Donskov admits that it hurt to lose Evan Bouchard, but it isn't an excuse for the loss, and that the team has a responsibility to earn a medal Sunday.
