Blue Jays reinstate Sanchez from injured list, option Pinango, Macko to Triple-A

The Toronto Blue Jays have reinstated outfielder Jesus Sanchez from the 10-day injured list and have made him active for Friday’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Jays also reinstated reliever Braydon Fisher from the bereavement list. He will also be active on Friday.

The Jays optioned reliever Adam Macko and OF Yohendrick Piñango to Triple-A Buffalo.

The Jays placed Sanchez on the IL in late June due to a right ankle sprain. The 28-year-old has seven home runs, 29 RBI and a .753 OPS in 215 at-bats this season.

Fisher, 26, holds a 4.15 earned-run average and a 1.25 WHIP in 52.0 innings this season. He has struck out 52 over his 50 appearances.
