The Toronto Blue Jays may be the only team to have clinched their spot in the third round of the MLB playoffs, but they are not the World Series favourite.

As of Thursday morning, FanDuel lists the Dodgers as the favourites to win the World Series at +185. The Dodgers, who won the title last year, lead their NLDS series 2-1 over the Philadelphia Phillies with Game 4 set for Thursday night in Los Angeles.

The Blue Jays are +310 to win the World Series after picking up a 5-2 win over the New York Yankees in Game 4. Toronto outscored the Yankees 34-19 over their ALDS series.

The Blue Jays await the winner of Game 5 between the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers, which will take place on Friday. The Mariners are +750 to win the World Series, just ahead of the Tigers at +800. Game 1 of the ALCS is set for Sunday in Toronto.

The Milwaukee Brewers, who lead their NLDS series 2-1 over the Chicago Cubs, have the third-best World Series odds at +500. The Cubs have the longest odds at +1500, behind the Phillies at +1200.

FanDuel sees a Blue Jays-Dodgers matchup as the most likely in the World Series, with betting odds for that at +250. Dodgers against Tigers is +650 and Los Angeles against Seattle is +700. A Blue Jays against Brewers series is the second favourite overall at +470.
