Mariners’ Raleigh (shoulder), Naylor (wrist) undergo surgeries

Seattle Mariners sluggers Cal Raleigh (left shoulder) and Canadian Josh Naylor (right wrist) have undergone off-season surgeries, the team announced on Monday.

Raleigh and Naylor each had surgery on Saturday at the University of Washington Medical Center. Both are expected to be fully recovered by 2027 Spring Training, per the team.

The 29-year-old switch-hitting Raleigh finished the season with 23 home runs, a .182 batting average, and a .296 on-base percentage in 451 at-bats.

Naylor, a Mississauga, Ont. native, hit 10 home runs, a .261 batting average, and a .317 on-base percentage in 597 at-bats.

Raleigh underwent a left shoulder acromioclavicular (AC) debridement procedure that was performed by Dr. Albert Gee. 

Naylor underwent triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) repair surgery on his right wrist that was performed by Dr. Jerry Huang.
