MLB: Mariners 8, Rays 2

Randy Arozarena hit a three-run homer after Seattle lost starting pitcher Emerson Hancock to a hand injury in the second inning, and the Mariners beat the Rays on Sunday to snap a five-game losing streak.


MLB: Yankees 5, Nationals 3

Ben Rice hit a two-run triple in the top of the eighth inning to give the Yankees their third straight come-from-behind victory over the Nationals on Sunday. New York, which has won four in a row for the first time since June 13-17, completed a three-game sweep in which it overcame one deficit in the ninth inning and two in the eighth.


MLB: Blue Jays 4, Padres 5

In the fourth, Ernie Clement knotted the game at three with his eighth home run of the season and Jonatan Clase gave the Blue Jays the lead with an RBI single in the eighth. Jeff Hoffman allowed the tying and go-ahead runs to cross the plate in the bottom half before Mason Miller shut the door on Toronto in the ninth.


MLB: Phillies 5, Tigers 0

J.T. Realmuto hit a three-run double in the sixth inning and Zack Wheeler struck out 10 in six scoreless innings, helping the Phillies beat the Tigers on Sunday to win their three-game series before the All-Star break. Tarik Skubal (5-5) gave up two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five in five-plus innings.


MLB: Brewers 5, Pirates 14

Paul Skenes won his second straight start after going winless for nine in a row as the Pirates scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to rout the Brewers on Sunday and head into the All-Star break with a three-game sweep.


MLB: Diamondbacks 5, Dodgers 3

Ildemaro Vargas had two hits, including a go-ahead single in the sixth inning, and the Diamondbacks overcame Shohei Ohtani's 22nd home run in a victory over the sloppy Dodgers on Sunday that finished a three-game sweep heading into the All-Star break.


MLB: Diamondbacks 9, Dodgers 2

James McCann hit his first two home runs of the season and had four RBI, Brandon Pfaadt made it three wins in three starts since returning to the rotation, and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-2 on Saturday night.


MLB: Blue Jays 7, Padres 8

Ty France hit the go-ahead home run, Sung-Mun Song and Manny Machado each drove in two runs and the San Diego Padres beat the Toronto Blue Jays 8-7 on Saturday night to even the three-game series.


MLB: Yankees 4, Nationals 2

Trent Grisham's two-run homer in of the eighth inning gave the Yankees another comeback victory over the Nationals' bullpen, giving Aaron Boone his 750th win as New York's manager. Paul Goldschmidt also went deep for his first home run since June 24.
