MLB: Rangers 4, Angels 1 (10)

Tied 1-1 into the 10th, Brandon Nimmo and Jake Burger hit back-to-back singles, driving in three runs to give the Rangers the lead, and ultimately the win as they hand the Angels their third-straight loss.


MLB: Astros 6, Giants 3 (10)

After Drew Gilbert gave the Giants a 3-2 with a solo home run in the seventh, a Cam Smith RBI single in the ninth sent to extras before a pair of hits from Jeremy Pena and Isaac Paredes gave the Astros the win in the 10th.


MLB: Royals 5, Dodgers 6

Tarik Skubal made his first home start as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and it wasn't exactly a dream performance, as he allowed four hits and three runs over five innings of work but thanks in part to the work of Freddie Freeman who had three hits, and drove in the winning run, the Dodgers ultimately bested the Royals.


MLB: Rays 10, Athletics 6

After a Jacob Wilson double put the Athletics on top 6-2, the Rays just took over. Junior Caminero hit a three-run shot to bring the Rays within one, as they scored eight unanswered to best the Athletics.


MLB: Orioles 5, Twins 9

Austin Martin had four hits including a home run, Josh Bell also homered and the Minnesota Twins beat the Baltimore Orioles 9-5 on Monday night.


MLB: Red Sox 1, Blue Jays 2

Charlie McAdoo who was called up ahead of the Blue Jays series with the Red Sox hit a solo home run in the fifth inning, Andres Gimenez hit an RBI single in the sixth, and the Blue Jays survived an odd call in the seventh that plated a run for Boston to take their series opener.


MLB: Mets 8, Braves 5

Canadian Jared Young had a pair of hits and drove in a pair of runs, former Blue Jay Bo Bichette had a hit and drove in a run of his own, and the Mets bested the Braves.


Taillon gets the start on Monday as Blue Jays host rival Red Sox

After a successful road trip, the Blue Jays are back at home on Monday to host the rival Red Sox, who have lost back-to-back games for the first time since July 1. SportsCentre has more on the storylines entering tonight's tilt as Jameson Taillon takes the mound for Toronto.


MLB: Cubs 10, Royals 2

Ian Happ hit a two-run homer, Miguel Amaya added a three-run shot and the Cubs beat the Royals. Alex Bregman delivered a pair of RBI singles to help Chicago win two of three games in the series.


MLB: Guardians 3, White Sox 5

Colson Montgomery’s 26th homer, a three-run shot, capped Chicago’s four-run third inning and the White Sox held on to beat the Guardians. Munetaka Murakami and Randal Grichuk each doubled in a run as Chicago increased its AL Central lead to 3 1/2 games over second-place Detroit.


MLB: Dodgers 2, Diamondbacks 4

Eduardo Rodriguez struck out nine in seven strong innings and the Diamondbacks clinched their first season series over the Dodgers since 2018 with a victory.


MLB: Twins 3, Brewers 4 (10)

Jake Bauers singled home the winning run in the bottom of the 10th after Luis Lara made a spectacular run-saving catch in the top half of the inning, and the Brewers edged the Twins.


MLB: Orioles 10, Rangers 5

Pete Alonso had his first two-homer game with the Orioles and drove in four runs as Baltimore broke out of a scoring slump and beat the Rangers. Texas, holding the final AL wild card and second in the West, had a four-game winning streak snapped.


MLB: Astros 2, Padres 7

Fernando Tatis Jr. hit a go-ahead, three-run homer and pinch-hitter Austin Hays connected for a two-run shot in his first at-bat with San Diego as the Padres beat the AL West-leading Astros.


MLB: Athletics 4, Red Sox 3

Max Muncy hit a tiebreaking RBI double off the Green Monster against closer Aroldis Chapman in the ninth inning and the Athletics rallied past the Red Sox for their first series win after losing 12 straight.


MLB: Rays 4, Mariners 1

Cedric Mullins' RBI single in the fifth inning put Tampa Bay ahead and Ian Seymour pitched six innings of one-run ball as the Rays beat the Mariners to complete a three-game series sweep.


MLB: Braves 2, Yankees 1 (11)

Michael Harris II opened the 10th inning with an RBI single, and the Braves beat the Yankees to prevent a three-game sweep. Atlanta won for the ninth time in 11 games, while New York fell to 2-9 in extra innings.
