Former lottery pick Jordan Hawkins is signing a two-way deal with the Chicago Bulls, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Monday.

Hawkins was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, three weeks after he arrived as part of a four-player trade with the New Orleans Pelicans for AJ Johnson and Taj Gibson.

Hawkins was drafted with the 14th pick by the Pelicans in the 2023 draft. He appeared in 51 games last season for New Orleans but struggled to find consistent playing time. The former UConn star played just 13.6 minutes per game, a significant decrease from the 2024-25 season, when he played 23.6 minutes per game and averaged 10.8 points per game.
