The Chicago Bulls, Detroit Pistons and Minnesota Timberwolves have come together on a three-way deal, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports.
The deal will see both Jaden Ivey and Mike Conley head to the Bulls.
Kevin Huerter and Dario Saric will go to the Pistons, who will also receive a 2026 first-round pick swap with the T-Wolves.
Charania notes the deal creates significant tax savings and roster space for Minnesota, who are in on the Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes.

A starter for much of his first three seasons in the league, Ivey has seen his playing time cut dramatically this season as a reserve. The fifth overall pick out of Purdue in 2022, Ivey was averaging 16.8 minutes a night, down from 29.9 last season. After averaging a career-high 17.6 points per game in 2024-2025, Ivey was averaging just 8.2 PPG this season.
The 38-year-old Conley is in his 17th season out of Ohio State and was in his fourth season in Minneapolis. The former Memphis Grizzlies star was averaging 18.5 minutes a night, the least amount of floor time he’s seen in his career. After 12 seasons with the Grizzlies, Conley spent four campaigns with the Utah Jazz with whom he was an All-Star in 2021.
Huerter, 27, is in his eighth season out of Maryland and was in his second with the Bulls. He was acquired at last year’s trade deadline as part of a trade that saw Zach LaVine head to the Sacramento Kings and De’Aaron Fox join the San Antonio Spurs. The Albany, NY native was averaging 10.9 points a night.
It’s a second trade in three days for Saric, who was acquired from the Kings on Sunday as part of a three-way deal that also included the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 28-year-old Saric never suited up for the Bulls. In his ninth NBA season, the Croatia international has previously played for the Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, T-Wolves and Philadelphia 76ers.
