Jeremiah Smith became Ohio State's career receiving yardage leader, Ja’Kobi Jackson scored twice and the sixth-ranked Buckeyes rolled to a 59-3 victory over Kent State on Saturday. Smith had five receptions for 85 yards, but needed just 26 yards to surpass Michael Jenkins' 2,898 yards from 2000-03 to become OSU's record holder.

Darian Mensah connected on his first 24 passes on the way to setting Atlantic Coast Conference records for consecutive completions, and fifth-ranked Miami's defence came up with four straight fourth-quarter stops to beat Wake Forest on Friday night. J'Koby Williams and Cameron Dickey ran for second-half touchdowns and No. 13 Texas Tech held on for a victory when Houston quarterback Conner Weigman came up just short of a 2-point conversion in the final minute.
