Week 5 of the NFL season is here, with a couple of teams off to surprising starts looking to show they’re for real this season, while some other slow starters look to kick it into gear.
TSN will carry seven games on the network this week, while NFL RedZone returns to cover all of the action across both slates on Sunday.
Here is a game-by-game look at each matchup and where to find them on the network.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Dallas Cowboys - Thursday Night Football
Week 5 kicks off with an NFC clash with the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-4) travelling to take on the Dallas Cowboys (2-2).
After a heartbreaking 34-31 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3, it was the Cowboys breaking hearts last week with a 34-30 comeback victory over the Houston Texans.
The victory was fueled by one of the league’s most prolific offences in Dallas, as it was a career day for receiver CeeDee Lamb. The 27-year-old set a career-high 17 catches for 189 yards, including the game-winning touchdown late. It was a big time day for quarterback Dak Prescott as well, who finished with 335 passing yards, one major, and zero interceptions.
The defence to start the season has been more of a question. The unit has allowed the second most rushing yards, the 13th most passing yards, only has four sacks, and has failed to snag an interception.
Taking on that defence will be rookie pivot Jalon Daniels, who is in line to make his second consecutive start with Baker Mayfield recovering from a thumb injury that he suffered in Week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings.
The undrafted 23-year-old completed 19-of-27 passes for 148 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in his first start in a narrow 17-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers last week.
It’s been a season of close losses for Tampa Bay to start the season, as all four of their losses have been decided by one-score.
That’s largely been because the Buccaneers’ defence has stood tall so far, sitting in the top 10 in both passing and rushing yards allowed, while holding their last three opponents to under 300 yards total.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - NFL International from London on Sunday morning on TSN Premium
The second of three NFL games to be played in Europe this season features the Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) battling the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1) at Tottenham Stadium in London.
For the second straight week there is football across the pond, and for the 15th time, it’s the Jaguars making the trip.
Jacksonville is .500 (7-7) in their London games, and will be looking for their third straight win of the 2026 season after a 35-6 hammering of the New England Patriots in Week 3, and a 22-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals last week.
The Jaguars’ defence has been stout to start the year, as the unit leads the league with six interceptions while having forced four fumbles, which is top 10.
Getting through this defence was already going to be tough for the Eagles, but the offence is now dealing with inconsistency, injuries, and a surprise retirement.
Philadelphia has dropped two games in a row, including blowing a 10-point lead in the final minutes to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4.
And now, running back Saquon Barkley and receiver DeVonta Smith are both dealing with hamstring injuries, while perennial All-Pro offensive tackle Lane Johnson announced his retirement effective immediately.
This does not bode well for an offence that has been inconsistent even with everyone in the lineup, as Philly sits bottom five in yards per play in the young season.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers - Sunday afternoon on TSN
A pair of .500 AFC teams keep the ball rolling on Sunday as the Pittsburgh Steelers (2-2) play host to the Indianapolis Colts (2-2).
The Colts are searching for their third win in a row after snapping a nine game losing streak dating back to last season in Week 3.
Indianapolis returns to North American soil with momentum after a convincing 30-13 win over the Washington Commanders in London last week. It was the Jonathan Taylor show in that one, as the star ball carrier rushed for 95 yards and two scores.
It’s a good sign for an offence that currently sits bottom 10 in yards per game. There’s potential for those numbers to improve, as they’ll battle with a Pittsburgh defence that has been middle of the road thus far.
The Steelers sit 14th in points per game allowed, 17th in rushing yards allowed, and 12th in passing yards allowed.
Pittsburgh is coming off a narrow 27-24 loss to their AFC North rivals in the Cleveland Browns last Thursday, in which Cleveland’s offence managed 372 total yards and a game-winning drive.
Minnesota Vikings vs. New Orleans Saints - Sunday afternoon on TSN Premium
The Minnesota Vikings (4-0) look to remain undefeated as they travel to take on the New Orleans Saints (1-3).
Minnesota is one of three undefeated remaining in the NFL, alongside the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, and will look to keep the streak up as they travel to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
The fun matchup will be the Vikings’ defence vs. the Saints’ offence, who are both top 10 units in yards per play, respectively.
Minnesota’s blitz-heavy defence under defensive coordinator Brian Flores has been the main reason for the team’s success. The unit is allowing the least amount of points per game at 12.8, and the seventh least passing (194.8) and rushing (94.5) yards per game.
The last three weeks the team has rattled off wins against the Chicago Bears, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Miami Dolphins, only allowing 29 points total in that span.
The Saints, on the other hand, will look to snap a two-game losing streak in which the team put up 27 and 24 points, respectively.
It’s a pass heavy group, as the team sits fourth in passing yards per game and 10th in points per game. Quarterback Tyler Shough and pass catcher Chris Olave have been leading the way for the Saints, with the former throwing for 1,203 yards (third), nine touchdowns, and only three interceptions so far.
Olave has been off to a hot start as well as the pair have continued to build off their momentum from late last season. The 26-year-old sits top three in yards (491) and catches (35).
Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals - Late Sunday afternoon on TSN
The action continues on Sunday as the Arizona Cardinals (1-3) welcome in the Detroit Lions (2-2).
The Lions come into this one after a shootout loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday Night Football. Detroit’s offence has been lethal, sitting sixth in yards per game (398.3) and fifth in points per game (29.8).
They are led by star running back Jahmyr Gibbs. The 24-year-old is off to a fast start this season as well, sitting top five in both yards (353) and touchdowns (five).
The defence, however, hasn’t been as successful as the offence. The unit is allowing the most yards per game by far at a whopping 423.8 and the second most points per game at 31.8.
The Lions come into this one after allowing 445 yards of offence and 32 points to the Panthers in Week 4.
For the Cardinals, they head into this matchup on a three-game losing streak after their Week 1 upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Arizona’s defence hasn’t been much better than Detroit’s. The Cards are allowing the fourth most points per game at 29.3 and the ninth most total yards per game (351.3).
The Cardinals were close to a win last week against the New York Giants, but a 98-yard pick-six by corner Deonte Banks sealed the win for the Giants and ultimately the loss for the Cardinals.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons - Sunday Night Football
Sunday’s action across the TSN network wraps up at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as the Atlanta Falcons (2-2) play host to the Baltimore Ravens (3-1).
Sunday Night Football marks the third straight primetime game for the Falcons on TSN, as it will also be the third straight game with their starting quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
The 26-year-old has rejuvenated Atlanta’s offence, as the team has put up 80 points and 918 total yards of offence over the past two games, compared to the 16 points and 524 yards of offence in the first two weeks.
The biggest benefactors have been back Bijan Robinson and wideout Drake London. The former sits second in rushing yards (494) and sixth in touchdowns (four), while the latter boasts the seventh most receiving yards (370) in the NFL.
Having your starting pivot available will always a bring a boost to your offence, but not having your main man at quarterback is something Baltimore might have to deal with themselves in Week 5.
Ravens QB Lamar Jackson suffered a sprained ankle in the team’s 24-18 Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans and it remains unclear if he will be good to go for Sunday night.
If the two-time MVP is unable to suit up, it will be Tyler Huntley next in line. The 28-year-old completed 8-of-9 passes for 63 yards while adding 16 yards on the ground in relief of Jackson last week.
Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams - Monday Night Football
Week 5 wraps up with a big-time matchup on the west coast as the Los Angeles Rams (2-2) welcome the Buffalo Bills (3-1) to SoFi Stadium.
Los Angeles comes into this one riding high after a 24-20 fourth quarter comeback win in Philadelphia in Week 4.
Kyren Williams ran for two touchdowns in the final four minutes as Matthew Stafford and the Rams rallied from a late 10-point deficit.
While LA only sits at .500, the team is allowing the second fewest total yards per game and the ninth fewest points per game. Offensively, the Rams are also putting up the second most yards per game.
They’ll be taking on a Bills team that has had a similar amount of success on one side of the ball, but not quite the other.
Buffalo’s offence has been dangerous to start the 2026-27 season. The unit is averaging the most points per game at 31.8, the fifth most rushing yards at 139.0, and the eighth most total yards at 386.3.
The defence hasn’t been quite up to snuff, however, and is part of the reason the team had their three-game winning streak to start the season snapped in last week’s 29-26 loss to the New England Patriots.
The Bills are allowing the sixth most yards per game (372.3) and the eighth most points per game (26.8), while only taking the ball away five times.
