The hits keep on coming for the Los Angeles Rams.
A day after an embarrassing 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals at home, head coach Sean McVay told reporters wide receiver Davante Adams will miss the next six to 10 weeks with a ruptured hamstring.
Adams, 33, was in obvious discomfort late in Sunday’s game. Heading into the end zone while running a route, Adams began to hobble and headed off the field for treatment. He did not return.
A native of Redwood City, CA, Adams is in his 13th NFL season out of Fresno State and second with the Rams. Adams missed three games in 2025 with a hamstring injury. In six games in 2026, the six-time Pro Bowler had hauled in 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns.
An overwhelming preseason Super Bowl favourite, the Rams (2-4) sit in last place in the NFC West. They return to action on Sunday with a visit to the Las Vegas Raiders (3-3).
