Blue Jackets’ Voronkov receiving trade interest

Published:

Multiple teams are calling the Columbus Blue Jackets with trade interest in forward Dmitri Voronkov, according to TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun.

LeBrun adds there’s no guarantee that the 26-year-old winger will be traded but the Blue Jackets are listening.

The 6-foot-5, 230 pound Voronkov has two assists in six games with the Blue Jackets this season, his fourth year with the club. He is down to a career-low 11:44 of time on ice per game.

He is signed through next season at a cap hit of $4.175 million and is scheduled for restricted free agency in 2027.

The Angarsk, Russia native has been a consistent contributor for the Blue Jackets since entering the NHL in 2023-24, scoring at least 17 goals in each of his three seasons, posting a career-high of 23 goals and 47 points in 73 games in 2024-25.

Originally selected in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2019 Draft, Voronkov has 58 goals and 115 points in 217 NHL games.

The Blue Jackets currently sit last in the Eastern Conference with a 3-5-0 record.
