The Boston Bruins signed defenceman Jonathan Aspirot to a two-year contract through the 2027-28 season on Sunday.

The extension carries an average annual value of $887,500.
Aspirot, 26, spent six years in the American Hockey League before making his NHL debut in late October as a member of the Bruins.
The native of Mascouche, Que., has two goals and an assist over 25 games with the Bruins in 2025-26, alongside a team leading plus-15 rating and 16:24 of average ice time.
Aspirot also has one goal and two assists over five games in the AHL this season with the Providence Bruins.
Over 297 career games in the AHL, Aspirot has tallied 31 goals and 97 assists.
The 24-19-2 Bruins sit sixth in the Atlantic Division.
