Canadiens F Anderson exits vs. Hurricanes

Montreal Canadiens forward Josh Anderson has left Thursday’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes and will not return due to an undisclosed injury, the team announced.

Anderson played 9:36 over the first two periods and scored a goal, but did not appear on the Canadiens’ bench to begin the third period.

The Canadiens led the Hurricanes 5-4 to begin the third, with Anderson’s goal serving as the go-ahead marker.

The Burlington, Ont. native has eight goals and 12 points in 39 games this season. He has 154 goals and 262 points in 655 career games with the Canadiens and Columbus Blue Jackets.
