The Montreal Canadiens have signed defenceman Maksymilian Szuber to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced.
The 23-year-old was acquired from the Utah mammoth in eachange for forward Joshua Roy earlier this offseason.
Szuber played 65 games with the AHL’s Tuscon Roadrunners last season, scoring 11 goals and 27 points.
He was selected in the sixth round, 163rd overall by the Arizona Coyotes in 2022.
