The New Jersey Devils have signed defenceman Anton Silayev to a three-year, entry-level contract on Monday.

Silayev was the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Draft.

Silayev, who stands at 6-foot-7 and 210 pounds, spent the 2025-26 season in the KHL with Nizhny Novgorod, appearing in 61 regular season games (one goal and two assists) and 10 playoff contests.

In 187 career KHL games, all with Nizhny Novgorod, the 20-year-old scored six goals with 26 points. Silayev was named a KHL All-Star for the first time in his career last season.

He helped the organization’s VHL squad capture the championship in 2024-25.
