The Anaheim Ducks announced on Tuesday that the franchise is retiring Ryan Getzlaf’s No. 15 this season.
They will retire the number on Jan. 30, 2027 against the Nashville Predators.
Getzlaf played his entire NHL career with the Ducks, skating in 1,157 games and scoring 282 goals with 1,019 points. He retired after the 2021-22 season.
A three-time All-Star, Getzlaf helped Anaheim capture its first Stanley Cup championship in 2007.
He is the all-time Ducks leader in games played, assists (737) and points.
Internationally, he helped Canada win gold at the U18s, World Juniors, Olympics (x2) and World Cup of Hockey.
