The Vegas Golden Knights have signed goaltender Carl Lindbom to a three-year, $2.7 million contract extension, it was announced early Monday morning.

The deal carries an average annual value of $900,000.

Lindbom, 23, got into eight games this past season with Vegas and recorded a .873 save percentage and 3.00 goals-against average. He had a .926 save percentage and 2.16 GAA in 35 games last season for the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights.

A native of Stockholm, Lindbom was drafted by the Golden Knights in the seventh round (No. 222 overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft.
