Golden Knights sign Holtz to two-year deal

The Vegas Golden Knights announced the signing of forward Alexander Holtz to a two-year deal on Tuesday.

The average annual value of the contract is $837,000.

Holtz, 23, appeared in 53 games for the team last season, scoring four goals and adding eight assists. He also appeared in 16 contests for the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights.

A native of Stockholm, Holtz was originally selected with the seventh overall pick of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils with whom he spent the first three seasons of his NHL career.

In 163 games across the four seasons, Holtz has 23 goals and 23 assists.

The Golden Knights open their 2025-2026 campaign on Wednesday night at home to the Los Angeles Kings.
