The Carolina Hurricanes announced Tuesday that the team has signed defenceman Pierre-Olivier Joseph to a one-year, $850,000 contract.
Joseph spent last season with the Vancouver Canucks, with one goal and and six points in 31 games.
He has nine goals and 46 points in 225 career NHL games with Pittsburgh, St. Louis and Vancouver.
Joseph was originally selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the first round at the 2017 NHL Draft.
