Montreal Canadiens 

Forward Ivan Demidov did not attend practice on Monday due to having another therapy day. The 20-year-old Russian has one goal and one assist over the first two games of the season. 

Defenceman Alexandre Carrier, who left Saturday's loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins with an upper-body injury, attended practice on Monday wearing a regular jersey. The 29-year-old has one goal and one assist over two games. 

Forward Oliver Kapanen, currently sidelined day-to-day with a lower-body injury, and 
defenceman Kaiden Guhle, who is still recovering from a minor surgery to his adductor muscle, were both at practice. Guhle was wearing a regular jersey.
