Beck, 22, played in two games in his most recent NHL stint but did not register a point. He has one goal and one assist in 30 NHL games across the past four seasons.

Washington Capitals

Caps' goaltender Logan Thompson will not practice Wednesday and the team says he is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. He appeared to sustain the injury on Tuesday againsty the Los Angeles Kings as he was slow to get up after making a pair of consecutive saves on Artemi Panerin.
