The Winnipeg Jets and restricted free agent forward Cole Perfetti have reached a five-year, $30 million contract extension that avoids arbitration, per TSN’s Danielle Bain.
The deal carries an average annual value of $6 million.
Perfetti, 24, recorded 12 goals and 32 points in 68 games with the Winnipeg Jets last season.
The 5-foot-11 centre is coming off a two-year, $6.5 million contract that carried a cap hit of $3.25 million.
Drafted 10th overall by the Jets in 2020, Perfetti has 59 goals and 157 points in 290 career games.
Perfetti’s best season came during the 2024-25 campaign where he registered 18 goals and 50 points in 82 games.
The Whitby, Ont., native represented Canada at the 2021 World Hockey Championship, taking home a gold medal. He also represented his country at the 2021 World Juniors in a silver-medal finish.
