Team Canada has unveiled its 25-man roster for the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics.
With six players previously named to the roster over the summer, general manager Doug Armstrong revealed who claimed the final 19 spots. Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby will go for his third Olympic gold medal alongside 4 Nations Face-Off hero Connor McDavid as well as Nathan MacKinnon, Sam Reinhart, Brayden Point, and Cale Makar.
The roster includes 19 players that were apart of Canada’s 4 Nations Face-Off winning team last year.
Crosby and Doughty are the only two players who were members of the 2014 Olympic gold-medal winning team and are looking to become the first Canadian men’s hockey players to win three gold medals in their careers.

Canada looking to capture gold in Italy as NHL players return
Canada has won gold at both the Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014 Games - the last two Olympic tournaments that NHL players have attended - but were held to bronze at Pyeongchang in 2018 before failing to medal altogether in Beijing in 2022.
Now bringing their top talent to the Olympics once again, Canada will look to bring home the nation’s 10th gold medal in men’s ice hockey at the Games.
Canada has been placed in Group A alongside Czechia, Switzerland, and France, who are replacing Russia after they were barred from competition by the International Olympic Committee.
The 2026 Games are set to open from Milan on Feb. 6. The knockout rounds of the hockey tournament will begin with the quarter-finals, set to be played on Feb. 18, and will run through the the gold medal game, which will take place on Feb. 22.
