Maple Leafs name Crowe as Director of Player Personnel

The Toronto Maple Leafs have made another addition to their front office, naming Jeremiah Crowe as the team’s new director of player personnel.

The 40-year-old Crowe was previously a member of the Buffalo Sabres organization, serving as the director of pro scouting.

The Maple Leafs have seen major changes in their front office this off-season, highlighted by John Chayka coming aboard as the team’s new general manager in addition to Leafs legend Mats Sundin becoming a senior executive advisor of hockey operations.

Chayka has parted ways with a number of long-time front office members, including assistant general managers Brandon Pridham, Derek Clancey and Hayley Wickenheiser.

The Maple Leafs missed the playoffs for the first time in nine seasons in 2025-26, finishing 32-36-14 for 78 points – their lowest full-season total since 2015-16.
