Oilers place F Mangiapane, D Regula on waivers

The Edmonton Oilers have placed forward Andrew Mangiapane and defenceman Alec Regula on waivers Sunday.

The 29-year-old Mangiapane has skated in 52 games with Edmonton this season, recording seven goals, 14 points, and a -19 plus/minus.

For his career, the 5-foot-10, 183-pound forward has notched 130 goals and 257 points in 550 games with the Oilers, Calgary Flames (2017-24), and Washington Capitals (2024-25).

Mangiapane signed a two-year, $7.2-million deal with the Oilers this past summer.

The 6-foot-4, 211-pound Regula has played in 29 games for the Oilers this season, registering three points while posting a -16 plus/minus and averaging 14:28 time on ice.

With the Bakersfield Condors, the Oilers AHL affiliate, this season, the 25-year-old has three points in three games.

Regula was claimed off waivers by Edmonton from the Boston Bruins on Dec.11 2024.
