Luke Glendening has agreed to a one-year deal to join the New York Rangers, the team announced Thursday night.
TSN Hockey Insider Chris Johnston reports that the contact is worth a league-minimum $850,000.
The 37-year-old veteran split time last season with the New Jersey Devils and Philadelphia Flyers, registering two goals and seven assists for nine points across 70 appearances between the two clubs.
Now entering his 14th NHL season, Glendening has skated in 934 career games split between the Detroit Red Wings, Dallas Stars, Tampa Bay Lightning, Devils, and Flyers.
The Grand Rapids, Mich. native has recorded 85 goals and 90 assists for 175 points for his career, also adding seven goals and 11 points in 60 Stanley Cup Playoff contests after signing with Detroit as an undrafted free agent in July 2013.
The Rangers have played to a 7-3-1 record to open up the 2026-27 season, and occupy second place in the Metropolitan Division with 15 points in 11 games.
