Sabres F Carrick available for Game 3 vs. Canadiens

Published:

It appears Sam Carrick could appear in his first game of this year’s playoffs on Sunday as the veteran Buffalo Sabres forward is available for Sunday’s Game 3 against the Montreal Canadiens, according to head coach Lindy Ruff.

The 34-year-old hasn’t played since Mar. 31 due to an arm injury suffered against the New York Islanders.

Carrick produced nine goals and seven assists over 73 games (13 with Buffalo) split between the Sabres and New York Rangers.

Carrick has 10 games of postseason experience, all with the Edmonton Oilers in 2024 when he recorded a single assist.

The best-of-seven second round series is tied at a game apiece after the Habs won Game 2 in Buffalo by a score of 5-1.

Games 3 goes Sunday night in Montreal.
