BOSTON (AP) — Ottawa Senators goaltender Linus Ullmark was not in net for the third period of his team’s game at the Boston Bruins on Monday night.

It was not immediately clear why backup Samuel Ersson replaced Ullmark in net after the second intermission.

Ullmark was slow to get up after Boston forward JJ Peterka collided with him after getting shoved by Ottawa’s William Eklund with 4:24 left in the second period.

Ullmark stopped all 15 shots he faced, and Ottawa led 4-0 when he departed. The 33-year-old Swede was back on the bench early in the third period.
