Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk left his team’s 4-1 loss to the Nashville Predators early with an apparent injury, head coach Travis Green told reporters after the game.

The injury occurred in the third period after taking a crosscheck from Nashville Predators captain Roman Josi during a scrum. He was seen holding his right hand after the play.

Tkachuk played 13:53 in the game, recording two shots and six hits, but didn’t play in the last nine minutes of the third period.

The Senators captain had 29 goals and 55 points in 72 games last season while recording 123 penalty minutes. He has three assists in four games so far this season.

Drafted fourth overall by the Senators in 2018, Tkachuk has 191 goals and 407 points in 515 career games.
