The Colorado Avalanche traded forward Tomas Tatar to the Seattle Kraken for a fifth-round draft pick in 2024, the team announced Friday.

Tatar signed as a free agent with the Avalanche in September and tallied one goal and eight assists in 27 games.
The Ilava, Slovakia, native has registered 212 goals and 252 helpers in 810 career regular-season games.
