The 2010 Conn Smythe Trophy winner as the playoffs’ most valuable player, Toews has 383 goals and 529 assists in 1,149 games. The former Chicago captain reflected on his time on the ice.

Babcock cleared in NHL investigation as Oilers close in on coach
Mike Babcock has been cleared to coach again in the NHL. “The League has completed its review of Mike Babcock’s tenure in Columbus, and of certain alleged conduct associated therewith. Our investigation has concluded that, even in a light least favorable to Mr. Babcock, there is no current basis to restrict his employment in the League,” the NHL said in a statement released Thursday afternoon.
