Otto Stenburg, Pavel Buchnevich, Theo Lindstein and Jake Neighbours scored in succession, Jimmy Snuggerud had a goal and an assist, and Joel Hofer made 28 saves for St. Louis.


Maple Leafs fire Berube after two years as head coach

The Maple Leafs have parted ways with head coach Craig Berube after the team missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2015-16 season. Berube coached two seasons in Toronto, going 84-62-18 and winning the Atlantic Division in 2024-25.

Maple Leafs GM John Chayka says the players really enjoyed being around Craig Berube, and that management did not solicit feedback from them regarding his firing. Chayka reiterates that he views the players as his partners, and wants to align with captain Auston Matthews on the vision and strategy ahead.


NHL: Ducks 2, Golden Knights 3 (OT)

Pavel Dorofeyev ended overtime after just 4:10 as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Anaheim Ducks in Game 5 of their second-round series. VGK leads series 3-2.


NHL: Sabres 3, Canadiens 2

The Canadiens held a 2-1 lead after the first period but Tage Thompson and Zach Benson both scored power play goals and the Sabres would hold on to take Game 4. Series tied 2-2.
