Will St. Louis break up Canadiens' top line in Game 5?

St. Louis on Gallagher: 'If he plays he's going to give you everything he has'

Veteran forward Brendan Gallagher has been a healthy scratch for the first four games of the series for the Canadiens and head coach Martin St. Louis did not confirm whether or not the 33-year old winger would enter the line up for Game 5 but says if he does he will give you everything he has. NHL: Ducks 1, Oilers 4

Leon Draisaitl scored twice, Connor McDavid assisted on both goals, and Connor Ingram made 29 saves as the Oilers staved off elimination, using an early onslaught to beat the Ducks in Game 5. ANA leads series 3-2.

Set up by Elias Lindholm, David Pastrnak scored spectacular goal on a breakaway 9:14 into overtime, and the Bruins avoided elimination with a win in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series. BUF leads series 3-2.


NHL: Wild 4, Stars 2

Matt Boldy scored the tiebreaking power-play goal in the final minute of the second period, after having one taken away late in the first, and the Wild beat the Stars for a crucial Game 5 win in their first-round series. MIN leads series 3-2.


Celebrini, Kucherov, McDavid named three finalists for Ted Lindsay Award

The three finalists for the National Hockey League’s Ted Lindsay Award for the 2025-26 season are Macklin Celebrini, Nikita Kucherov and Connor McDavid, the league announced on Tuesday. The award is presented annually to “The Most Outstanding Player in the NHL,” as voted by fellow members of the NHLPA.
